JAMES BEARD FOUNDATION

The James Beard Foundation’s mission is to celebrate, nurture, and honor chefs and other leaders making America's food culture more delicious, diverse, and sustainable for everyone. I feel honored to have been invited to cook at the James Beard House on 4 occasions as well as Friends of the James Beard House twice.

ROCKHOUSE FOUNDATION

The Rockhouse Foundation over the past decade has invested almost US$4 million in projects improving education for the Negril area's children. The Foundation's current project is the building of the areas first Special Needs Early Childhood School in the region's capital, Svannah-la- Mar. Through these projects the Rockhouse Foundation directly impacts the lives of thousands of young people and their families. After visiting the schools they have impacted back in 2015 we decided we could help, so we implemented an annual Spring fundraiser dinner with all proceeds directly going towards the special needs school. Partnering with the team from Miss Lily's, the 2017 second annual event was an incredible success. A huge thank you to all who helped make this a night to remember.

The Danny Butler Memorial Fund is dedicated to funding game changing oncological research throughout the world as the leading doctors close in on a cure. Every year I donate a dinner to be auctioned off at their annual fundraising event.
